Elizabeth Jane Whiteley is a contemporary figurative sculptor based in Hertfordshire, UK. Working primarily in ceramic, she creates hand-built figures exploring mythology, landscape and the relationship between the human form and the natural world.

Nymphs  is a collection of  ceramic sculptures exploring the relationship between the human form and the natural world. Inspired by mythology, these sculptures give form to unseen spirits.

The collection spreads across three styles, Woodland, Ocean and Jungle Nymphs. Each inhabits its own ecosystem while sharing a common visual language of transformation.
